100th Post

It's been just over three years in the making and now it's here, my one hundredth post. I now have 35 followers and nearly 7000 page views.  Looking back on where this all began is almost embarrassing. There have been many times where I have become really discouraged about my photography and thought that it was all a waste, sure it was going nowhere.  But this passion won't seem to go away. Something keeps on pushing me to try harder and go further with it. Every time I go for a shoot, I come back loving photography more and more.
I don't know what God has planned for my future, but I am sure of this: Photography will always be a part of me.
Thankyou all for all your comments and encouragement!
Danielle

Canon 135mm f2

I recently bought the Canon 135mm f2. It has been so much fun to have something new to work with and get used to. I'm definitely not regretting this.

Sky Love

On Friday evening there was the most beautiful sunset that I've seen yet since coming to CUC. This picture doesn't do it justice but the sky was filled with goldeny pink clouds and the whole world seemed to be glowing  purple. I fell in love with the sky a long time ago, and it seems that love just keeps on growing with time.
I also wanted to share a quote from a book that I have been reading.
"We may be assured of this: the secret of all failure is our failure in secret prayer"
The Kneeling Christian- pg. 14

Tristan and Audrey

What a pleasure I had yesterday to do my very first couple shoot. Now, I should probably clarify that these two are not engaged, they just wanted some pictures together because they don't have too many. But none the less it was lots of fun. Thank you so much Audrey and Tristan for giving me this opportunity to learn more.
