Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park

Yesterday was a lovely day. After church four friends and I, piled in to a van and headed out not knowing anything about the place we were going to. So we were driving along for two hours through miles and miles of hay fields wondering where a hiking place could possibly be in such an area. As we got closer and closer we became a little worried that we may have driven all that way for, well......hay fields. So finally we saw a sign that said we had arrived at the park, we were rather disappointed. But then we drove just slightly further and to our amazement was this huge drop off and an AMAING view. It was like a miniature version of the grand canyon, but covered in beautiful deciduous trees of all colours. We were VERY happy we had gone. It was a blast!
